The housing panels gave way to several brunches hosted by the faculty housemasters. This brunch was hosted by MIT History faculty member and Burton-Connor Cousemaster Merritt Roe Smith. After the brunches, all of the dorms provided house tours, including McCormick Hall. Another tour guide shows some families around campus. There were also a number of religious events on Saturday and throughout the weekend. MITs Christian groups held a panel on Saturday afternoon, which included a performance by the Cross Products. I also went to see the sand mandala, sponsored by the MIT Buddhist Community. When I visited the sand mandala, this monk was singing a beautiful prayer.
